Hack.IT@BVP 2.0 is a flagship hackathon of BVEST 2023 organized by the IT department of Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering, New Delhi. The IT department of Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering organized one of its kind 24-hour hackathon, Hack.IT@BVP 1.0 during BVEST 2019. It was one of the biggest hackathons in Northern India with prizes worth Rupees 12.5 lakhs. The Hackathon was a great success and got over 750 registrations out of which 136 were shortlisted. To provide students with a platform to turn their ideas into reality, we again come up with the second edition of our flagship Hackathon, HackIT@BVP 2.0. This will be a highly focused and intensive 24-hour hackathon that will bring together computer programmers, designers, and subject matter experts to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. To celebrate India’s presidency of G20 this Hackathon will highly focus on topics related to G20 such as education, Health, Trade and Investment, Environment and Climatic sustainability, Disaster risk management, and open innovation.

What is a hackathon?

A hackathon can be best described as an “invention marathon”, or in simple words, hackathons are about bringing your crazy ideas to reality. It’s an event where any tech enthusiast, regardless of their field, can come & participate in learning, building & sharing their creations over the course of a weekend, in a relaxed & productive environment. Hackathons are simply a venue for self-expression & creativity, where people come together & transform their thoughts into reality, through technology.

What is Hack.IT@BVP 2.0?

Hack.IT@BVP 2.0 is the flagship hackathon of BVEST 2023 organized by the IT department of Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering, New Delhi, and is the second edition of Hack.IT@BVP organized during BVEST 2019.

When is it?

Hack.IT@BVP 2.0 is a 24-hour hackathon taking place on 28th and 29th March, 2023.

Who can participate?

Undergraduate students currently pursuing Engineering from any college/university, MBA students are allowed to participate.

What is the team size?

The team size is 1-4.

Can I register individually?

Yes, you can!

Are cross-college teams allowed to participate?

Yes

Do I need to have any specific qualifications to participate?

Absolutely not! You just need to have the motivation to Think, Hack, and Create!

Will I be provided with any travel reimbursement?

No, we don’t provide any travel reimbursements.
